We ship most orders over $300 for free. Orders under $300 are $10.
We only use proven, reliable freight forwarders to deliver your purchase.
Our sole aim is to organise the delivery of your goods as quickly and efficiently as possible, in one piece. Due to the size and nature of the product, damage does occur occasionally.
In the rare case that there is an issue, these are our terms and how we can help.
By placing an order with us and paying for the item, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Terms for freight, shipping and receiving
We arrange freight on your behalf through our preferred freight providers.
If you do not wish to use one of our preferred freight providers you must notify us within 12 hours of your purchase. We pack boards to international standards for shipping.
We are not liable for any damage caused during freight by the freight forwarders.
With large bulky items it is best to ship to a business address. This ensures a hassle free and reliable service. Alternatively we can also ship to the local Toll/NQX depot for you to collect.
Alternatively if you work from home you must be there to sign for the board. The freight company will not give you an exact time or day for delivery. If you are not there to sign for the goods they will take the delivery back to the depot for you to collect
The delivery times provided by Balmoral Paddlesurf are estimates only. Balmoral Paddlesurf will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
Upon deliver you should inspect the box and the goods for signs of damage BEFORE signing the delivery receipt. If you sign the delivery receipt you are accepting the goods as they are.
Do not sign for damaged goods. We do not pay for return freight once goods have been signed for.
In the rare case that goods are damaged in transit by the freight company, we recommend three options-
- If damage is significant you may refuse the delivery and asked that it be returned to sender. Contact us immediately.
- If the damage is minor, and repairable, we will cover the cost of repair. You can accept the shipment and make sure to have the driver make a note of damage on the delivery docket.
If you sign the delivery docket you are accepting the delivery and you are accepting the goods in the condition they were received in. If you notice any damage after the driver has left you can only make a claim if you have taken out Freight Damage Insurance with the freight company. You MUST contact us within 24 hours of delivery to make a claim.
In ALL cases, you must, within 24 hours of delivery.
- contact us immediatley to notify us of the issue
- document the damage to the box, packaging and the product.
- take note of the serial number, if there is one.
- take clear photos that show the full extent of the damage.
